I Must Be Full

Where We’re Getting Our Wives

The above is a map of the peninsula where my ancestors come from in Sweden. It’s just above Angelholm and South of Bastad on the West coast of Sweden. My cousin Adam (the artist) and I decided to go there to find some Swedish wives. We think our chances may be better there. But he’s got a ladyfriend so it may be a while before we go.

Anyway, the reason I posted this: my dad, Durry Jones, started a blog. It was my 60th birthday present to him, to help him set it up on MediaTemple with WordPress.

It’s called I Must Be Full (referencing a phrase his Grandpa used to say) and it’s about “Genealogy, Observations and General Folderol”. I’m excited to see what he does with it.

Good luck, Dad.

Lots of art-related posts lately.

I did all these by using a Sharpie, taking a picture/scan of my drawing and then having fun in Illustrator. You can see big versions on my Flickr.
