But who came up with the meaning behind these colors? How did we arrive at these decisions? Why is it ALWAYS orange=decaf? When did red come to mean stop? And green go?
So the question, for my Dad (or anyone else who cares to look it up), is: where did the Decaf/Orange connection come from? Why are stoplights red? Why are golights green?
