So this is sick. At first I thought that it made no sense for The Standard to get into air travel, but some of the features they’ve got going on their site are brilliant.
This, ladies and gents, is how a simple digital thing changes the way business operates.
When you go to book a flight, it shows you who is on the flight (initials only if someone hasn’t added a picture), shows you how much that person paid, and how much the next seat to book will cost. The prices escalate as the plane nears capacity, and you have to have all 8 seats filled in order for the flight to be confirmed.
Big airlines, start doing this now, please.
