Nice Aubrey Hepburn… I mean elegant. Elegant Aubrey Hepburn.

hear hear. love the diplomacy/bomb example, what a great piece of articulation… resisted the urge to call it elegant though :-)

Great post Clay. I love the elegance idea. Also check out this HorsePigCow post on Mojo, reminded me of what you said about grace.

Thanks, Noah. Yeah, the “Grace” quote is lifted from Seinfeld, the episode where Elaine goes to work for Mr. Pitt.

I totally dig that Mojo idea…thanks for the link. There’s this site, fixedgeargallery; they totally have Mojo. The site is about as old-school web as you can get, especially for a community, but people are in love with it. They send PayPal donations, submit their photos, and generally just go out of their way to participate. It’s crazy, you’d think people wouldn’t want to play with such a clunky site. But they have Mojo. Grace. Whatever.

Completely unrelated to brand elegance, but if you’re into fixed gear bikes, the MashSF blog is rad.

Really great point Clay and a great take away on problem solving in various facets of design and branding. We should all strive to be a bit more “elegant”.
